123rd Express Entry Draw in Canada

Canada immigration invited 3,600 candidates in the Express Entry draw held on August 12, leading to authorities surpassing 52,000 Invitations to apply, in the present year. The Comprehensive Ranking System score, in the draw was 466 points that is seven points more, in comparison to the previous draw, held on July 24th. For the third time consecutively, 3,600 ITAs were issued in a draw. Canada has an admission target of 81,400 in high-skilled immigration. IRCC had a record for issuing 89,800 ITAs in 2018.

There was a tie-break mechanism implemented in the Canada immigration draw set on Aug 6th, 2019 at 8.14am EST. In case more than a candidate has the same CRS score, only the claimants submitting the Express Entry profile prior to the specific date and time get the invitations. It was also the 16th Express Entry invitation round in 2019.

The Express Entry system of immigration is implemented by immigration authorities in Canada since January 1, 2015, for managing the applications of skilled workers in Federal programs. These are Federal Skilled Trades Program

The Road Ahead

Experts also feel that there will be 30 draws that will have the capacity to issue 80,000 invitations in 2019. Many of these will feature a CRS score around 460, so that the immigration authorities in Canada can meet the target of annual immigration set out for the year.

Candidates can expect that a CRS score around 460 points, will enable them to get permanent admission in Canada, without a job offer, or the provincial nomination.  The country has adopted an ambitious plan to invite immigrants for meeting its shortage of talents.
