Canadian immigration authorities conducted a new draw in the Express Entry, and issued 3,600 Invitations to Apply to the aspiring candidates.

The draw had the minimum score in Comprehensive Ranking System at 472 that is three points below the previous draw.

Including this draw, IRCC has at present, invited 75,300 candidates during the present year against an admission target for top skilled immigration set at 81,400. In 2018 IRCC had broken the record for issuing in ITAs in Express Entry at a performance of 89,800.

There was a tie -breaking rule in the draw implemented as of October 8, 2019, 6.46 am EST. If many candidates have the same CRS score, only the candidates who had submitted an Express Entry profile before the specific time and date will receive the invitations. Moreover, the year had 23 invitation rounds in Express Entry in 2019. It is 130th overall.

The Importance Of Express Entry

The immigration system of Express Entry is implemented by authorities in Canada since January 1, 2015, to manage the aspirations and applications of several skilled workers in Federal programs. These are three:

  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program,
  • Canada Experience Class as well as parts of Provincial Nomination Programs

Some of the experts are hoping to see 30 draws and issuing of around 80,000 invitations in 2019. Moreover, majority of draws will feature a CRS score below 460 so that the immigration authorities can meet the annual targets in immigration for 2019.
