It is a joint project of the City Authority and Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. Dubai Healthcare City Authority has a population of over 8,000 people working and their families. Using this center, all of them can process their visa application and immigration procedure hassle-free since it is very close to their office. Dr. Ramadan Al Beloushi is the CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Authority. He acknowledged his team’s effort and said that in 2017 they opened the Emirates Fitness Centre, Foreigners Affairs office, and a General Directorate of Residency by partnering with several different bodies. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and how authorities should work together to bring out better and faster results. Al Beloushi said that partnerships like the one that established the Identity and Citizenship Customer Happiness Centre takes them closer to achieving Dubai’s government plan of 2021. The center will be open between 8 am to 2.30 pm, and located in Ibn Sina Complex in building 27. It will only be open between Sunday and Thursday and closed on Friday for Jummah. The center is equipped to handle only 120 applications every day, but it might increase if there is heavy traffic. Dubai Health Authority Funds for Poor Patients Only recently, the Dubai Health Authority allotted Dh 30 million every year towards helping poor patients. The initiative is called Ataa’ wa Saa’da and was started by partnering with some private sector companies. The Dubai Health Authority has collaborated with six different private hospitals for treating patients with limited abilities for free. Some treatments will be discounted, depending on the costs. Private hospitals welcomed this move and are more than eager to start working on the initiative.
