Quebec province has published the results of the most recent Arrima draw that was held on 16 Jan 2020, in which 23 applicants of Quebec’s Regular Skilled Worker Program got invitations to apply for the Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). All the applicants invited in this draw had their prior applications canceled as part of the immigration reformations launched by Quebec province in June 2019, which are identified as Bill 9. Past draws too have preferred the candidates influenced by Bill 9 reformations. In a prior statement, the Government of Quebec had notified that the draws till 16 January 2020 will prefer such candidates. So the recent draw is presumably the last such draw that prefers these applicants.
The applicants invited in the recent Arrima draw are those who had presented their Expressions of Interest to M.I.F.I before 17 December 2019. They had also held a status of temporary residence or a work permit or study permit in Quebec province at the time of submitting an application.
Quebec Province began the Arrima system in 2018 for managing applications in the Regular Skilled Worker Program. This electronic system of presenting Expressions of Interest substituted the “first come and first served basis” system that was present in earlier. The applicants who want to move permanently to Quebec province through the Regular Skilled Worker Program should first submit an Expression of Interest (E.O.I) through Arrima. Each profile of EOI submitted in this manner is evaluated and ranked based on various qualification factors. Based on the labor market demands of the province, Quebec welcomes the highest-ranking applicants to apply for a CSQ.
The invited applicants can submit the completed application for CSQ in 6 months. Upon receiving a CSQ, they may appeal for Canada PR with the federal immigration of Canada. Quebec is an engaging immigration address where residents enjoy extraordinary living standards and better career Options.
