Rural & Northern Pilot: Sudbury in Ontario Opened for Applications
Sudbury in the Ontario province has started its application procedure for applicants and employers by the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot.

The north-eastern Ontario's city Sudbury will originally aim for the Mining supply & services sector and also from the tourism sector. Applications from any other sector will also be allowed from applicants who are already residing in Sudbury.

Officials have announced a list of 20 target professions through the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot.

Sudbury is one of the eight listed communities to start its website for the immigration pilot. The others are Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, and Thunder Bay in Ontario province, Brandon and Altona or Rhineland in Manitoba province, Claresholm in Alberta province, plus Vernon in British Columbia province.

Requirements for Job-Offer 

  1. The employment offer should be full-time and also it should be for a permanent position and also for a minimum of 1,560 hours in a year and a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  2. Remuneration needs to match the current wage for the position being offered.

Requirements for Employer 

The organization must:

  1. Be located in Sudbury or in a commutable distance.
  2. Have been actively running a business in Sudbury for a minimum of one year.
  3. Satisfy administrators that attempts have been made to fill the job with a local applicant.
