In the Feb 27 draw of its Express Entry, Saskatchewan issued 83 invitations seeking the provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada. The invited candidates were in International Skilled Worker sub-category. This also permits the province in nominating candidates in the federal EE system to obtain permanent residence in Canada.
The EE system administers the profiles of candidates for the following economic immigration categories:
Moreover, the EE candidates submitting the application receive the provincial nomination and also get 600 more points in the ranking score. Moreover, it serves as a fast-track for an ITA for permanent residence. To get consideration in the Saskatchewan provincial nomination
EE candidates must register an EOI with the SINP.
The EOI profile contains information regarding work experience, education, and language proficiency in English/French as also some connections to the province. This includes a near family member or past work/study experience in the province apart from other factors. Moreover, such candidates must also have work experience in a top skill job originating on In-Demand Occupations List. Profiles get a score on the criteria where the 60 points or still more are entered into the pool of candidates.
A specific number of the top candidates then receive an invitation in the following regular draws. Finally, the least ranked candidate in the Feb 27 provincial draw qualified with a score of 68. The present trend will see more such draws in the future. Please contact us for any details and guidance.
